HYPE is here in the US and many more countries!
No cost Hype is finally here in the US along with 16 other countries. Paid Hype has yet to be seen.
However, you must be a part of the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) in order to have Hype. If you're in the YPP, Hype is automatically applied to your channel.
Viewers will be able to Hype your latest videos every week. This means your videos has to be less than 7 days old in order to qualify!
This might come out as a bit unfortunate for those who aren't in the YPP, especially when YouTube kept mentioning how this new feature will help smaller creators.
YouTube often mentions that sub count don't matter... until it does.

YouTube is testing gift goals on vertical livestreams!
In case you're unfamiliar with Goals, it is a YouTube livestream feature where creators can set a Super Chat goal for their community. Usually, creators will give incentives for viewers to reach this goal.
Such as:
- making a video fans have been waiting for
- playing a requested game
- doing a dare, like eating a pepper
Now, YouTube is expanding this to vertical livestreams with Gift goals!
This experiment is currently only for mobile streamers in the US, but YouTube has plans on expanding to other countries.

Since August 25th, Channel Membership has expanded to iOS. On September 16th, this update will roll out to all channel membership creators!
A new billing system for iOS now allows more viewers to purchase a membership through their iPhone and iPad.
Currently, YouTube hasn't mention any additional charges through the Apple store, but let us know if you see any if you choose to purchase a membership!
YouTube Create now has templates!
If you're not sure what Create is, it is a website by YouTube for creators to make special effects for Shorts.
It is only available on desktop, so that means you need to have a PC to create effects that you can only use on the mobile app.
They've now added templates to help kickstart your creativity!
Remember, if you publish your effects, it will be available for any creator to use!
